The UK’s first all-Black female cancer portrait exhibition, showcasing powerful images that reveal personal scars and the physical impact of cancer treatment, designed to encourage more women of colour to connect and share their cancer experiences.
Published in 2024, our first hard back coffee table book titled Black Women Rising Through Cancer features portraits and stories of 100 British Black women who have had a cancer diagnosis.
Commissioned by Gilead Sciences, Unseen Unheard was created to tell the powerful stories of our members through theatre. Directed by Simon Frederick and Suzanne McLean MBE, the production had six sold-out performances at Theatre Peckham, followed by two incredible UK screening tours.
